This little unit is located in Sangkhla buri district, Kanchanaburi province, 20 kilometres from Myanmar- Thailand border, over 400 kilometres from Bangkok through high undulating mountain ranges. This unit has been looking after over 50 full time patients since 1990. These patients were homeless or stateless and they mostly suffered from Alzhimer’s. They constantly need more funding to buy food, build proper rooms for patients and maintain the facilities.
