Established by Mannie in 2013 in Hepburn Springs, driven by a deep love and passion for organic and herbal treatments, our mission has always been to provide our clients with the very best in healing and care. Prani Glow Day Spa has travelled a remarkable path since its inception. We are profoundly thankful for the overwhelming support and appreciation we have received from our valued clients and the communities we serve.

Our Philosophy

Mettā (Thai word derived from Pali) which means loving-kindness and compassion. This philosophy is subtly infused in all our treatments and how we serve you as the most important person.

“Buun” (บุญ)  is rooted in Thai culture, the concept of “Buun” (บุญ) emphasises that acts of kindness and generosity accumulate merit. At Prani Glow, we’ve woven this philosophy into our very business model. Every spa day becomes an opportunity to create a ripple of positive change, enhancing both your well-being and the lives of those we touch.

Our Founder

Born in Thailand to a Javanese background family and raised in the vibrant heart of Bangkok, a true melting pot of cultures, her childhood was a testament to the beauty of multiculturalism. In this diverse community, where Jawi, Thai, Chinese, Malays, and Indians coexisted harmoniously, customs, beliefs, and knowledge from distant lands were freely shared.

Growing up amidst this rich tapestry of cultures, Mannie’s fascination with the wisdom of her ancestral herbal and traditional medicines deepened. She marvelled at how these practices intertwined with native plants, beliefs, customs, and teachings passed down through generations.

As Mannie’s interest in herbal and traditional medicines continued to grow, it evolved into a true passion. Over the years, she diligently cultivated an extensive knowledge of Southeast Asian herbal treatments. Alongside her herbal expertise, Mannie is a qualified and experienced massage therapist with several years of practice in various massage therapies and spa treatments, including traditional Thai massage, hot stone therapy, remedial massage, and Thai ancient postnatal holistic therapy.

Every year, Mannie embarks on journeys to Asia with the purpose of expanding her expertise in traditional herbal healing treatments. These annual travels are dedicated to deepening her understanding of various aspects of herbal medicine, encompassing the propagation, cultivation, farming, processing, and utilisation of organic herbs. Through these dedicated excursions, Mannie continues to enrich her knowledge and skills in the world of natural healing.
